The sites AI Overviews cite most

AI Overview tracking in a project

In a project, the rank tracker records the SERP features of every tracked keyword on each check, AI Overview citations included, at no extra cost. Its AI Overviews tab shows how many keywords trigger one, how many cite you, and which do not yet.

SEO glossary

What are AI Overviews?

AI Overviews are AI-generated summaries that Google shows at the top of some search results pages. A Gemini model writes a short answer to the query, drawing on pages from Google’s index, and shows links to supporting websites alongside or within the summary. They appear only for queries where Google’s systems judge a summary adds something to the classic results.

AI Overview checker FAQ

What is an AI Overview?

The AI-written answer Google shows above the results for many searches, with links to the pages it drew on. Being one of those links is the new featured snippet: visible even when nobody scrolls.

How do you know if an AI Overview cites my site?

Each AI Overview comes with its list of source pages. Your site counts as cited when any of them is on your domain or one of its subdomains.

Why does a keyword show no AI Overview today?

Google shows AI Overviews for some searches and not others, and it changes over time and by country. Checking on a schedule in a project shows the trend rather than one snapshot.

Do I need a project?

No. The SEO tools work on their own, in any market you pick. Keywords you find can be saved to a project in one click when you want to track them.

Can I share a result?

Yes. The search, the market and the open tab are all in the page address, so a link or a bookmark opens the same view. Anyone opening it runs the search with their own key; a repeat of something already looked up is served from the cache for free.
